Information about these Major League Stars:

Chris Hoiles was one of very few hitters known for having great success against Randy Johnson, when Johnson was in his prime as the Seattle Mariners star ace pitcher. On August 14, 1998, at Jacobs Field in Cleveland, Hoiles became the 9th player ever to hit two grand slams in one game. He was inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame on August 26, 2006.

Tippy Martinez is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher, playing from 1974 to 1988. Most of his career (1976-1986) was spent with the Baltimore Orioles, where he is still one of the team's most popular players.

Ronald Hansen, 1960 AL Rookie of the Year, is a shortstop who played for the Baltimore Orioles, the Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals. Through a 15-season career,Hansen was considered one of the best shortstops in the American League.

Al Bumbry, American League Rookie of the Year in 1973, is a former Major League Baseball outfielder who played for the Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres from 1972 to 1985. Bumbry has the strange honor of being one of three batters that Goose Gossage has admitted he intentionally hit.
Al Served in Vietnam and was awarded Bronze Star.

Sam Snyder has been an integral part of the Baltimore Orioles Coaching Staff, training such greats as Cal Ripken Jr. and Mike Mussina.
