12u Flash Travel Softball Tryouts

Tryouts for a newly forming BCC Flash 12u Travel Softball team are coming up! The team will practice 2x a week in the surrounding Bethesda / Chevy Chase area and compete in tournaments and potentially league play.

The 12u Flash will be coached by Robin Bergen. Robin is excited to get back on the field! She was a three sport athlete in high school on Long Island, and an all-conference co-captain and MVP on the inaugural New York State Championship softball team. She earned a softball scholarship to the University of Virginia, where she was a three year starter, co-captain and academic all-American. Her team ranked #5 in the Southeast Region and #23 in the Country. After graduating Law School and moving to the DMV, she coached her sons for 11 years in baseball from rec to travel with BCC. She is looking forward to working with the BCC Flash players on their path to high school softball and beyond.  She will teach the players teamwork, determination, positivity and passion for the game, as well as life skills like leadership, confidence, and a strong work ethic. She will work hard to see each player reach her full potential, build a competitive and winning team, and have fun with the girls while doing it.

Tryout: Saturday July 12 at 2pm at Whitman High School Softball Field

Age Determination: Players must be 12 or under on August 31, 2025.
