The BCC Flash Fast Pitch Travel Softball Program is dedicated to the all-around success of our athletes. Our goals include the pursuit of excellence on the softball field furthering passion for the sport, and our priority is to instill the importance of academics and good sportsmanship, personal accountability, teamwork, and community awareness in every player. BCC Flash aims to be the premier travel softball program in the area, both on and off the field. BCC Flash is a time commitment and must be your number one sports priority - with the exception of your High School Softball team.

BCC Flash spans a full year and runs across two seasons – Fall season which includes a winter clinic component and Spring/Summer season. There will only be one team per age group. The number of games and tournaments varies by age group. Generally the fall consists of two practices per week, 2-4 tournaments, and scrimmages. In the winter, there are clinics held once a week during January and February at the BCC Baseball Indoor Facility. The spring/summer months usually consist of two practices a week, 6-8 tournaments, and scrimmages. The cost of the full year is split into multiple payments. The entire full year season can cost approximately $2400 or more depending on the number of players on the team and the number of tournaments played. Families are also expected to cover their own travel expenses.

 

BCC Flash may have teams in four age groups:

• 12U: 40’ base path and 40’ pitching distance

• 14U: 46’ base path and 43’ pitching distance 

• 16U: 46’ base path and 43’ pitching distance

• 18U: 46’ base path and 43’ pitching distance

BCC Flash is tryout-based with tryouts usually held in late July or early August. Players go through drills, are scored by the coaching staff, and then selected by the coaching staff. The coaching staff has full authority on roster selection. BCC Flash coaches are mostly former college softball players who understand what it takes to succeed in elite level athletics while also balancing the demands of a strong education and healthy lifestyle.

 

BCC Baseball provides professional coaching, practice fields and softballs for each team. Players are required to purchase their own uniform.
